Rugged Universal 3 Lug Mount

The Rugged Universal 3 Lug Mount (RU³) is designed to make HUB/universally threaded suppressors compatible with HK spec 9mm 3 lugs (HK spec is the standard for nearly all 9mm 3 lugs). This is a perfect solution for mounting 9mm rated suppressors like the Sub9, Alaskan360 or any other HUB/universally threaded suppressor onto subguns and pistol caliber carbines. In the past you’d need to use a Universal Cage in order to convert 1.375x24 threads to be compatible with a traditional 3 Lug Mount. This new mount is essentially a HUB 3 Lug Mount that will thread directly into your 1.375x24 suppressor and does not require any thread adapters like the Universal Cage. This simplifies the process and saves you money by not requiring additional parts/accessories.

The primary purpose of the Rugged Universal 3 Lug Mount is to simplify the process of mounting a HUB suppressor to a 3 lug. In addition to simplifying the process, the RU³ utilizes a Bixler style attachment method. A Bixler style 3 lug mount utilizes a taper lock, which provides a very robust lockup with a long maintenance cycle. This results in rock solid mount that is ideal for high rates of fire and attaching directly to HUB/universal 9mm rated suppressors.

The RU³ allows you to quickly and securely mount your HUB suppressor to HK spec 9mm 3 lugs like our 3 Lug Adapters. Mounting the RU³ is a simple and fast process:

• Ensure the Universal 3-Lug Mount’s retainer is fully unlocked by twisting counter clockwise until the line above “OPEN“ is visible

• Install the suppressor onto the firearm by aligning the openings in the retainer to the lugs on host. Once fully seated, rotate suppressor clockwise until hand tight.

• Pull the suppressor away from the firearm to ensure it’s properly mounted.

• If using a Rugged 3-Lug Adapter, verify suppressor is fully seated via the go gauge on the muzzle device. “NO GO“ will be covered and only “GO“ will be fully visible.

While we recommend using a Rugged Suppressor, the Rugged Universal 3 Lug Mount is threaded in 1.375x24 making it compatible with any 9mm HUB style suppressor on the market. The RU³ includes a Universal 3 Lug Tool in order to securely attach it to your suppressor. The process below will walk you through proper installation of the RU³

• Remove the mount that is currently in your suppressor. We recommend referring to your owners manual to ensure proper removal.
• If you're using a Rugged Suppressors Alaskan360 or Sub9 remove the front cap, insert the Multi Tool then thread on the Multi-Tool retainer finger tight.
• Place the end of the multi-tool in a bench vise for ease of installation. If a bench vice is not available, a 11/16" wrench can be used. (If your're not using a Rugged Suppressor, follow your owners manual for the recommended method of stabalizing your suppressor for attaching a HUB/universal mount)
• Hand thread the RU³ into the suppressor
• Insert the Universal 3 Lug Mount Tool into the RU³ and tighten to 25 ft-lb with a 3/4" socket or wrench.
• If you're using a Rugged Suppressors Alaskan360 or Sub9, remove the Multi-Tool and retainer then reattach your front cap
